Coco + Mischa Slow Fashion Symposium 2018
Who: COCO + MISCHA will be moderating a discussion on ethical fashion with special guest Elizabeth Cline, author of Overdressed. Joining them to educate and inform novice and seasoned slow fashion shoppers will be local designers Megan Huntz (creator of her namesake line) and Lauren Remesi (creator of the line Cut From Same Cloth), businesswoman Tara Pesta (owner of Outpost Showroom), and retailer and designer Sanni Baumgärtner of Community in Athens. Possible additional speakers TBA.
What: We'll host a welcome reception and exclusive shopping event featuring designer samples and special discounts on slow fashion & vintage clothing for this one night only. Local jewelry duo Fossil & Hide will release their very first collection from Fossil & Hide Fine, a line of handmade 14k gold pieces. Signed copies of Overdressed will be available for purchase. Then we'll sit for our panel discussion and take questions from the audience. Guests will leave with special goodies and an unforgettable experience!
